Greg and Debbie started their alpaca journey in 2016 with three furry ladies, Addie, Savannah, and Clarice. The plan was to enjoy animal husbandry. Almost comically we had numerous uninvited visitors driving into our farm hoping to get a glimpse of these beautiful exotic camelids. The word was out! Greg and Debbie are lifelong residents of Manistee County and want to give back to the community. So with some deliberation, G & D Alpaca Farm decided to open the farm up to the public and share their love and knowledge of alpaca. The farm is simple, unassuming, and many say “magical”. G & D Alpaca Farm places emphasis on the visitor experience allowing for hands-on experience and interaction. If you are looking to slow the pace of your day, be among nature, have a picnic, or perhaps do some fine shopping, G & D Alpaca Farm is the place to be.
